Heap Quick Start

The Heap Quick Start course is designed to give you only what you need to know to answer your first business question in Heap and create a data visualization, so you can start digging into the details. We'll start by teaching you the (not so) secret language of product analytics, so you can translate your question into a data-friendly query. Next, we'll show you where to go in Heap to create powerful data visualizations that will provide deep data insights. Finally, we'll pull it all together and you'll learn how to create Heap charts that will answer the most common business questions our customers ask.

Once you finish this course, you'll be able to:

• Translate a business question into a query.
• Identify the three most common query types in Heap.
• Select the correct query type for the business question you want to ask.
• Access Heap charts to create data visualizations.
• Build a chart that measures the number of times an event has occurred.
• Build a chart that measures the number of people who have performed an event.
• Build a chart that measures the rate of conversion between events.
